Kapiti3D & COVID-19: We can help

We are following the development of the COVID-19 virus outbreak and are now seeing the desperate need for supplies to protect frontline medical staff working in hospitals and clinics treating COVID-19 patients in New Zealand and around the world. Some of these supplies are 3D printable, and we want to help New Zealand.

Kapiti3D offers nationwide 3D printing to assist hospitals and medical clinics to try and provide the medical supplies that are in critical need.

How we've been helping

PRUSA PROTECTIVE FACE SHIELD

Due to the shortage of protective wear for medical personnel in the current pandemic situation, we have quickly started producing protective face shields. We have already printed and donated shields to several organisations and professionals across Kapiti, but many more are needed.
All our 3D printers are actively working hard day and night to fulfil the demand for our medical workers to keep them protected.

In April 2020, we produced over 200 face shields and delivered to front-line medical staff in the Kapiti Coast region.
